When deciding on what amazing recipe I would post first, I just couldn’t not have this be THE ONE. It was inspired by this recipes for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pops from Chocolate Covered Katie. Here’s how I stumbled upon it:
I was hanging out on Pintrest on an exhausted Friday night (I’m a rockstar sometimes) when I saw this recipes and decided to try it -just not stick the stick in the pops. Well, that turned into me eating the “dough” and history was made. This isn’t a super light recipe, but if you are like me and cookie dough could be it’s own food group, this is made for you!
Fauxookie Dough
2 Servings; Less than 5min to make
1/3c +1/4c Old Fashioned Oats- Aldi
2 T Splenda for baking (not to be confused with packet Splenda- there is a huge difference) -Walmart
1 T Packed brown sugar -Aldi
1/4 t Baking soda (it does change the flavor if you leave this out)- Aldi
1/2 T Brummel & Brown Yogurt Butter- Walmart
1/2 t Vanilla Extract- Aldi
3 T Original Almond Milk -Aldi
1 & 1/2 T Mini Chocolate Chips- Walmart
Directions: Take your first four dry ingredients (oats, Splenda, brown sugar, and baking soda) place them into your Magic Bullet and blend as smooth as you can get it- at least a minute. Dump your dry ingredients into a bowl and add your moist ingredients (butter, vanilla, almond milk). Mix it up with a spoon until it is all blended. Add Chocolate Chips and enjoy without the guilt of making real cookie dough! Makes two servings (if you have any self control).
